Gwangju Mayor Ki Jung signed an investment agreement with Kakao Mobility Co., Ltd., South Korea’s leading mobility company, to attract customer centers on the 11th.

About 10 people, including Mayor Kang, Kakao Mobility Vice President Lee Dong-kyu, and Kakao Mobility Executive Director Lee Soo-yeon, attended the investment agreement ceremony held at the City Hall business room later in the day.

Under the investment agreement, Kakao Mobility will establish a 200-seat customer center in Gwangju. Gwangju-si provides various administrative services related to this and provides investment incentives under the Ordinance on Promotion of Investment Attraction.

Gwangju City expects to create new jobs for more than 200 career-interrupted women and young people as Kakao Mobility has decided to hire talented people in Gwangju first.

Kakao Mobility, which is scheduled to open its office in Dong-gu next month, plans to provide benefits such as operating in-house cafes employing the disabled, operating nail shops, and monthly payments of Kakao T points.
