The Busan Metropolitan Government will sign a series of business agreements with the Virtual Asset Exchange to lay the foundation for a leap into the center of digital finance.

The Busan Metropolitan Government announced on the afternoon of the 26th that it will sign a business agreement with overseas virtual asset exchanges “Crypto Dotcom” and “Gate IO” for the global digital finance hub city of Busan.

Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon, Crypto Dotcom Chief Operating Officer Eric Anjiani, and Hanlin Gate I.O. will attend the signing ceremony.

Crypto-dotcom has technologies related to digital asset payment, currency exchange, and remittance.

“Gate IO” is one of the world’s top 10 digital asset exchanges and has unique technologies such as preventing digital asset mispayment and cryptocurrency wallet solutions.

With this agreement, we will push for various blockchain projects to develop Busan into a global digital finance hub city and join forces to push for the establishment of the Busan Digital Asset Exchange.

First, the city receives technology and infrastructure support for the establishment of the Busan Digital Asset Exchange.

Crypto-dotcom and GateIO plan to establish a Korean branch in Busan and a research center for training blockchain engineers.

In addition, Crypto Dotcom supports fostering blockchain startups.

Gate I.O. raises 1,000 blockchain engineers annually to cooperate and invest in fostering the blockchain industry in Busan.
