The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (Chairman Choi Won-mok) announced that it will support 12 innovative startups that will participate in the “Web Summit 2022” in Lisbon, Portugal, for four days from the 1st of next month with KOTRA (President Yoo Jung-yeol).


“Web Summit” is the world’s largest tech conference attended by more than 70,000 startup officials, including 2,300 startups and 1,200 investment institution officials last year.


Starting with the launching ceremony of 12 companies selected by the two organizations on the 19th, Shinbo and KOTRA will support the entire event, including pre-IR education, special IR pitching, and field operation, and will jointly operate the Korean Pavilion in the exhibition hall during the event.


Companies participating in ‘Web Summit 2022’ are excellent ‘K-Startups’ with innovative technologies such as autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and biometric signal measurement.


In particular, “MicroSystem (CEO Jung Sang-guk),” “XLAT AI (CEO Jung Young-hoon),” “Wired Company (CEO Hong Man-man, Hwang Bom-nim)” and “GB Soft (CEO Park Ki-beom)” advanced to the IR pitching competition, which only the top 105 companies participate in.


In addition, “Newience Co., Ltd. (CEO Byun Jung-yoon),” “Tool Space Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jin-hyo),” “Wired Company Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Man-man, Hwang Bom-nim),” “Promedius Co., Ltd. (CEO Bae Hyun-jin), and “Plan M (CEO Lee Min-kyu)” were listed on the “Startup Showcase” program.


In addition, “Dallara Network (CEO Kim Chae-won),” “Mobile Wheel (CEO Kim Min-hyun),” “View Mejin (CEO Kim Do-yeop)” and “Inhand Plus (CEO Lee Hwi-won)” will show the potential of “K-Startup” through consultations on attracting overseas investment and promoting business items for global startup officials.
