Along with the popularity of metaverse, “Virtual Human” made with artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technology is gaining popularity. As many companies use virtual influencer as a marketing tool, attention is also increasing for domestic startups that produce virtual humans.

According to industries on the 12th, startups that make virtual humans are gaining attention from investors. Analysts say that large-scale investments have been made into virtual human startups since last year.

According to Emergence Research, a global market research company, the global virtual human market is expected to grow from 10 billion dollars (about 14 trillion won) in 2020 to 527.58 billion dollars (about 688 trillion won) in 2030.

Last year, Deep Brain AI, a virtual human production company, completed 50 billion won in investment last year and received 200 billion won in corporate value. Deep Brain has introduced an AI human solution that creates virtual humans capable of real-time two-way communication through deep learning artificial intelligence technology. It has interactive artificial intelligence technology using deep learning-based video synthesis and voice synthesis source technology.

Aria Studio, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based content production company, attracted seed investment from Primer Partners and KB Investment last month.

Aria Studio is an enterprise that produces audience-participating content by combining Virtual Human with ‘AI Story Engine’, which creates natural story logic, and Virtual Studio. It has interactive virtual human production pipeline and virtual production construction technology. Aria Studio said, “We are also developing a virtual studio production platform that embodies the background of the video as if it were real.”
