Deb Sisters announced on the 11th that it recorded 51.6 billion won in sales, 3.8 billion won in operating losses, and 3.9 billion won in net losses in the third quarter of this year. On a quarterly basis, operating losses occurred for three consecutive quarters following the second quarter.

In the case of sales, it decreased slightly to 3.1% compared to the previous quarter as Cookie Run: Kingdom continued its trend of stabilizing trend. Operating profit and loss reflected marketing costs from Cookie Run: Kingdom’s Disney collaboration and increases in fixed costs due to increased new businesses and manpower.

Deb Sisters plans to focus on exploring genres and platforms through new IP games in 2023, while actively securing new growth engines through diversification of the cookie-run IP business.

First, Deadside Club will officially launch globally based on Steam in the first quarter of next year. It is considered a new side-scroll-style gun shooting battle genre and a key title that will lead to expansion to PC and online platforms.

After conducting two tests in the first half of this year, the development of main contents such as the basic Battle Royale mode, the Beholder mode where all conditions of the game can be set and intervened, the occupation war over a specific base, and the PvE (Player vs Environment) mode were further expanded.

In addition, it has secured sustainability and scalability of non-holder modes by adding a map craft system in which players freely configure the structure, shape, and size of the battlefield. Based on previous tests, Deadside Club plans to actively collect feedback from domestic and foreign users and focus on improving completeness until its launch by establishing a diverse play environment and a system with high balance.

Another new IP-based Brixity is also accelerating its development with the goal of releasing a mobile version in the first half of next year. In addition, Cookie Run IP, the next movie in the real-time Battle Arena genre, will continue to expand through Cookie Run: Oven Smash. Cookie characters, which have been active based on 2D in existing games, will be introduced for the first time in 3D, while attempting to expand their scope to PC and console platforms.

Cookie Run: Oven Smash opened a steam page on the 2nd and released information on contents such as various play modes and My Home, where you can decorate your own space. As platform and service strategies are embodied in the future, details will be disclosed sequentially.

In addition, it plans to explore cookie run IP diversification and expand its potential by investing in new projects such as the puzzle adventure game Cookie Run: Witch’s Castle and Casual Cooperative Action Game Project B in 2023.
