While Wemix, the key currency of the Wemade blockchain game ecosystem, has been embroiled in controversy by increasing the distribution of virtual assets without disclosure, the need to legislate a proper “coin disclosure system” is being highlighted.

Earlier on the 27th, Wemix was designated as an investment item by a joint consultative body for digital assets operated by the cryptocurrency exchange due to inconsistencies in distribution and lack of clear disclosure of actual distribution.

As controversy arose over the disclosure of distribution volume, WeMix’s team said it would update the estimated distribution volume of WeMix by period shared with the exchange.

It also added that it will upgrade its own announcement system to establish a complementary disclosure system by combining occasional announcements along with existing quarterly reports.

Post-announcement and non-announcement of the number of issued shares in the securities market are subject to punishment. However, in the virtual asset industry, which does not have a disclosure obligation system, some private companies such as Zangle are replacing the role of electronic disclosure systems, but it is pointed out that the limitations are clear.

The Korea Exchange has the authority to sanction listed companies if they violate their disclosure obligations, but Zangle does not have the right to punish the project. All measures are taken to demote the evaluation grade of the project where the fraudulent issue occurred.

As a result, there are voices calling for proper measures to compensate investors for the damage caused by poor disclosure.

■ Is it possible to mass-produce Tesla Cybertruck at the end of 2023?

Tesla is reportedly planning to mass-produce Cybertruck, a pickup truck-type electric vehicle, at the end of 2023. Elon Musk is also cautiously predicting when to mass-produce cybertrucks due to a series of delays in mass-production schedules.

At the annual shareholders’ meeting in August, he said, “We are going to use a method of gradually increasing production by starting small-volume production in the mid-2023 period. We plan to establish a full-scale mass production system by the end of 2023, he said.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced in November 2019 that the first mass-produced car will be released by the end of 2021, but a year later, Elon Musk’s promise has not been kept.

Delay in the development of core platforms, compliance with regulations, and global supply chain issues are cited as reasons for the delay in mass production of cyber trucks. It is also mentioned that the amount of new 4680 batteries installed in Cybertruck has not been sufficiently secured.

However, experts believe that it will not be easy to mass-produce high-strength stainless steel chargers used only in SpaceX spacecraft. In other words, major technologies have been completed and prototypes have been made, but it is analyzed that they are having difficulty in mass-producing them.
