Seoul Techno Park (CEO Kim Ki-hong, hereinafter referred to as Seoul TP) announced on the 31st that it has launched a “digital platform alliance” to introduce ESG and support digital transformation (DX) for small and medium-sized companies based on the 4th industrial revolution technology.

Six organizations, including Seoul TP, LG Uplus, LS Electric, SK C&C, Korea National University of Engineering, and Seoul Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Committee, will first participate in the consultative body to cooperate in developing and distributing technologies to support small and medium-sized companies.

Seoul TP, which organizes the alliance, is an institution that plays a role as a base for supporting local companies. It supports companies’ digital transformation and carbon-neutral projects through smart factory supply and diffusion projects and digital cluster projects. Through this alliance, we will discover and operate cooperative projects with technological companies by utilizing our experience in corporate support.

In particular, it operates a “win-win consulting” business for corporate support with LG U+ (CEO Hwang Hyun-sik). It provides free consulting support for experts and promotion of its products for companies that want to introduce smart factories and convert ESG and DX.

In addition to the win-win consulting business, LG U+ supports small and medium-sized companies to upgrade their smart factories by utilizing their advanced smart factory technologies such as 5G, IoT, and AI.

LS Electric (CEO Koo Ja-kyun) uses its own small and medium-sized smart factory platform “Tech Square” to support the establishment of optimal ISPs for each company through free mentoring by experts in each field for efficient DX conversion, and actively cooperate with necessary solution suppliers.

SK C&C Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Sung-ha) plans to support companies by developing customized solutions for small and medium-sized companies and providing SaaS services based on “I-FACTs Hub”, a comprehensive manufacturing service platform for small and medium-sized companies.

Korea National University of Engineering (President Park Gun-soo, head of industry-academic cooperation team Jung Doo-hee) is working hard to lead the digital transformation with the vision of “a leading university that creates a better future together” and is conducting education for the 4th industrial revolution through the Future Human Resources Development Center. Along with Seoul TP, it is conducting training for working-level workers for companies that supply smart factories, spread projects, and digital cluster projects, and plans to expand the curriculum to ESG and AI fields in the future to meet alliance demand.

The Seoul Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Committee (Chairman Yoon Il-cheol) is a consultative body composed of experts in various fields such as smart factories and AI, and plays a role in discovering cooperative projects in connection with technology advice and government support projects of alliance participating institutions and companies.
