CEO Jang Hyun-guk presented a new paradigm to Wemade’s vision for the metaverse world.

Wemade said on the 18th, “CEO Jang Hyun-guk gave a keynote speech under the theme of ‘New Paradigm: Intergame Economy and Metabus’ at the ‘G-CONX IGC (International Game Conference).”

The G-CON was held for two days from the 17th to the 18th at the convention hall in BEXCO, Busan, where G-Star 2022 will be held. Developers and executives representing each field, including online, console, mobile games, indie and metaverse, participated as speakers, and the conference opened on the 18th with CEO Jang Hyun-guk’s keynote speech.

First of all, CEO Jang Hyun-guk said, “There are misunderstandings about cryptocurrency, but Wemade believes in WeMix’s own vision and is introducing blockchain services such as DAO & NFT platform ‘Nail’, defy service ‘WeMixPie’, and stable coin ‘WeMixDollar’ to realize it.”

After talking about the reason why blockchain technology was introduced, the answer to the effectiveness of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology was cited as a game.

CEO Jang Hyun-guk said, “Mir4 Global, which combines blockchain technology with gameability, opened the P&E (Play and Earn) market around the world and established itself as the world’s No. 1 game,” explaining the reason why the well-designed in-game economy is combined with blockchain technology to lead to real value. “Based on this blockchain game onboarding, the ‘We Mix Play’ platform was also able to move toward the top global platform,” he said.

In addition, it announced that 2023 will be the year that Wemix Play expands as a global open platform. “By the first quarter of next year, we will introduce an advanced platform service that will onboard 100 blockchain games and ultimately enable anyone to create their own talk-nomics,” he said, drawing the future of Wemix Play.

On top of that, he said, “We will implement the intergame economy with ‘Mir 4’ through the ‘Mir M’ global, which is set to be officially released next month, and realize metaverse based on an economically connected and play-linked ecosystem.”

WeMade participated as the main sponsor of G-Star 2022. WeMade will join G-Star 2022 to promote the status of the Korean game industry to the world and showcase the WeMade ecosystem where “everything in life becomes a game” through the G-Star Exhibition Hall.
